The Goal


Engage an historical TV audience of a show to tune into the premier of a new season using Boxfish Chorus.

Overview


A major cable network wanted to promote a new season premier. It was important for the network to remind viewers of a show that a new season was starting. They could not find a way using existing tools to target viewers of the previous season.

Finding the Audience


Boxfish ran analysis on the shows previous two seasons and identified an audience using common hashtags the show title, running further analysis on that audience revealed new topics for expansion and uncommon hastags. By the end of the analysis, Boxfish had identified a large and comprehensive audience of the shows previous 2 seasons. Running a follow analysis of the show revealed further shows that the audience had a strong affinity for. Boxfish had identified a highly relevant audience at scale.

The Results


Using our historic audience analysis and topic expansion techniques, Boxfish Chorus achieved a 19% engagement rate for the campaign. Further, Boxfish delivered a $0.05 CPE vs. the client's target of $0.57 CPE, resulting in a 1066% ROI for the client.

The Goal


Engage a TV audience during a live broadcast, at scale using Boxfish Chorus.

Overview


A Fortune 500 brand wanted to deliver a campaign to an NFL audience during a live broadcast of a game. All previous methodologies they tried had failed to deliver the message at scale. The NFL audience was a key audience the brand needed to address as part of their campaign. The brand contacted Boxfish to see if their methodologies could help them to deliver the message not only at scale but within the time limitation of the game being broadcast.

Finding the Audience


Boxfish had prepped the campaign using with all available data ahead of the game. Team and player names, and associated #hashtags. This was the data that had previously limited the scale for the brand. Using this data we started to expand the audience in real-time as the game progressed. We identified new topics and #hashtags evolving in real-time that enabled us to find new and untapped audiences.

Optimization


While running the campaign we could analyze which topics started to trend within the audience. We used this data to inform the creative being delivered. By changing the creative as the game unfolded to the topics that the audience was engaging with, Boxfish could drive high CPE to an incremental audience - in real-time.

The Results
